Group B Games: Netherlands Win on Crosses and Spain Win Last Game

Today of the Group B matches was Netherlands vs. Chile. Both teams already made it past, and are fighting for first with a win. In the 40th minute, Arjen Robben of Netherlands past several dear before shooting his shot wide. Robben shot another one in the 67th minute, but Chile keeper Claudio Bravo saved it. Holland scored in the 77th when Bravo tipped Memphis Depay`s cross, before sub Leroy Fer headed it in the net. Holland sealed the 2 goal win when Robben went down his left side before passing to unmanned sub Depayy, who blasted it home. Holland won their group and will face Mexico in the next round, while Chile will face Brasil.
The other match was the pointless teams Australia vs. Spain, who are both eliminated. In the middle of the first half, David Villa shot wide from Andres Iniesta`s cross. Spain scored in the 36th when Iniesta passed to Juanfran who passed it to Villa, who shot it with a right foot back heel, beating Australian keeper Matt Ryan. Koke of Spain shot a low shot from long range that Ryan tipped wide. Iniesta`s through ball between Austalian defenders before Fernando Torres slided to tap home the second in the 68th minute. Sub Juan Mata scored for Spain in the 82nd when he shot from close range but from a tight range past Ryan`s legs for a 3-0 score. It was Villa`s last international game and had 59 goals and Spain captain Xavi and keeper Iker Casillas did not play. Tim Cahill of Australia did not play.
